Florida-Friendly Landscape Series - Pruning Palms & Shrubs - February 28th from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Thursday, February 28, 2013 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM (EST)
PRUNING PALMS & SHRUBS
When and how do you prune palm leaves? When do you prune shrubs? Which shrubs really don't need pruning? Anvil pruners, bypass pruners, loppers, or saws? Clear up the confusion so you can suit up and go out confidently to manage your landscape!
UF/IFAS Extension Agent, Jim Davis, will answer all your pruning questions and teach you how to properly and safely prune your palms and shrubs, which tools to use and how to be sure you do not spread diseases while pruning.
The 2013 Florida Friendly Landscape Series events are held monthly on the 4th Thursday of every month (except November & December) from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Please join us for these educational sessions; a new and timely topic is presented each month. If an event fills to capacity, you may waitlist and we will contact you upon receiving a cancellation.
Email firstname.lastname@example.org if you have any questions or if you would like to be added to our Eventbrite invitation list for UF/IFAS Sumter County horticulture events.
