About this Event
Become a Sustainable Floridian and Climate Collaborator, serving as a leader, educator, and catalyst of sustainable living and climate action in 2020 and beyond. Through this monthly “discussion-to-action” community engagement program, you will:
- Learn together and discuss sustainability principles and climate action opportunities in your community for Florida and the world.
- Share your unique perspectives, life experiences, and wisdom.
- Take personal and collective action to live more sustainably and protect Earth’s limited resources.
- Inspire others to answer the call to sustainable living and climate action for our collective future.
A pilot project of We, the World and the UF/IFAS Extension Sustainable Floridians Program, the Climate Collaboratory brings youth, adults, and elders together to share personal stories, learn from one another about opportunities for climate action, and create individual and community action plans in support of the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) or "Global Goals".
