Do traditional HIV/AIDS minority organizations have the capacity to implement high impact HIV prevention strategies? What skills are needed for the survival of minority AIDS service organizations (ASO)? How will the loss of minority organizations affect HIV prevention delivery in the state of Florida? How will the Affordable Care Act (ACA) affect HIV service delivery? Do minority ASO know how to conduct an assessment of current capacity to implement biomedical prevention strategies? Are agencies in a position to negotiate partnerships with medical providers?
Come participate in a facilitated discussion with HIV organization managers and leadership to identify answers to these questions.
This event is sponsored by Florida Department of Health in partnership with the Black AIDS Institute, The AIDS Institute, and AIDS United.
