Florida 8(a) Alliance presents the August Eglin Course and Workshop:
8 - 11am: The Florida 8(a) Alliance federal contracting course which covers information about the federal contracting market, marketing tools and strategies. This course is for companies in years 1-3 of the 8(a) program, small businesses new to federal contracting (including those that are thinking of getting their 8(a) certification) and those in the 8(a) program that have not yet won an 8(a) contract (years 1-9).
11:30 - 2PM:
The Florida 8(a) Alliance workshop will include networking and speakers covering topics about doing business with Eglin Air Force Base, mistakes to avoid when doing business with Government Agencies, obtaining facilities clearance, and an overview of the Air Force’s Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) program. Lunch will be served.
