Workshop Details

Small intimate 4 HOUR classroom setting (MAX. of 6 students).

Flowers are some of the most beloved images, yet most photographers think that flower photography is something limited to a month or two in spring requiring travel to rural areas. Untrue, some of the very best floral photography is done under controlled indoor conditions. This workshop will teach simple, affordable and practical techniques that will allow you to capture stunning “wall worthy” floral images. Don’t believe it? Check out the gallery on this page. These are all indoor floral images captured with only basic equipment and lighting. The workshop’s focus is on table-top techniques that can be applied almost anywhere. We will learn basic lighting skills (strobes, constant lighting and reflectors), macro techniques, mounting options and much more. All the tools we use will be inexpensive or even free (except for your camera, lens and tripod of course).
