Learn how to maintain your floor model platen press; get tips on troubleshooting and basic repair. This workshop is an in-depth review of the parts and functions of the C&P floor model clamshell press and related models. You will learn the points of maintenance, lubrication, and cleaning. The instructor will provide troubleshooting tips and explain the differences between various models. You will perform hands-on maintenance work, including assembling and disassembling parts of the press. Whether you use studio presses, are thinking of buying one, or already own one, this workshop will provide excellent direction for your future presswork.
