  • Review of enforcement procedures – how to identify floodplain issues, learn which departments are involved and understand FEMA standards including the State Building Code and other state and local regulations as enforced by the Wetlands Protection Act, hear examples of recent projects in or near the floodplain; and

  • Gain knowledge related to the NFIP and how it affects participating local officials and residents.

There will be time for Q & A on specific issues, so please feel free to come prepared with questions.
