Description
On December 31, 2011, the President of the Untied States signed the 2012 NDAA (National Defense Authorization Act), authorizing the indeifnite detention of any person, without charge or trial, merely accused of of supporting terrorism. This flies in the face of the spirit and culture our country was founded upon, and violates over 10 provisions of the U.S. Cosntitution.
On October 7th, 2013, the Albany, NY, Common Council will vote on a Resolution blocking the NDAA in the city, and requiring city police to protect the rights of their people.
We will show up in force at 6:30 in support of the resolution, organize a little, and head immediately into the council chambers to show support for this resolution and urge its passage.
