Overview:

FLIR’s Research and Science Segment offers Infrared Cameras that are specifically designed for advanced thermography and accurate temperature measurements. With both cooled and uncooled detectors available, these products cover a wide array of applications and are easy to use with FLIR’s ResearchIR Max software.

Hands-On Topics Covered:

  • Introduction to IR technology for Research and Science Applications

  • Work with and evaluate several different IR cameras (SWIR, MWIR, LWIR, Handheld, Fixed, Cooled, Uncooled)

  • Learn about FLIR’s ResearchIR MAX Software platform which enables and enhances analysis of your data

  • Create a Self-Viewing File of your own application

  • Perform experiments to compare and contrast different cameras

  • Review different optics for microscopy applications (down to nearly 4um/pixel resolution)
