About this event
Our Flexible Families (Foster-to-Adopt) Program is designed for families seeking to adopt a child through the foster care system. At this information night, you will hear from a flexible family caseworker on Adoption Options program requirements, including training and the home study process, as well as Colorado law. This event is appropriate for families interested in either in-state or out-of-state adoption from the child welfare system. If you are registering for both yourself and a partner, please ensure that your registration is set for two people. Families must attend and information night and 1:1 meeting to receive an application.
All families types can apply! Applicants must be at least 25 years of age. Families who tend to be most successful in this program are those with a high degree of flexibility and reasonable expectations of the child being placed.
Our flexible family program abide by Colorado Rules and Regulations for licensure requirements. This includes immunization requirements for flu and pertussis vaccines (medical exemptions only).
