Graeme Wood is a National Correspondent for The Atlantic. He has written for the magazine regularly since joining its staff in 2006, and he has also contributed to The New York Times, The New Yorker, The Boston Globe, The American Scholar, Foreign Policy, and many other publications. He was the 2015-2016 Edward R. Murrow Press Fellow at the Council on Foreign Relations and a 2009 Jefferson Fellow at the East-West Center. He studied at Deep Springs College, Harvard University, Indiana University, and The American University in Cairo, and he teaches in the political science department at Yale University.
