Flavor's 2013 Top Chef Cook Off, A benefit for Home Again St. Johns

Sample a taste of the tantalizing creations offered by area restaurants at the Flavors of Florida’s Historic Coast Top Chef Cook-Off, Thursday October 10, 2013! Set for 6 to 9 p.m. at the beautiful The Renaissance World Golf Village Resort the event features tastings and an exciting culinary competition.
Taste the many signature dishes from restaurants featured during the month-long Flavors of Florida’s Historic Coast. Then vote for your favorite in the Flavors People’s Choice Award!
The evening’s entertainment is an iron-chef style cook-off among Flavors chefs before a panel of local celebrity judges who will select the Best of the Best.
Flavors Top Chef Cook-Off is sponsored by St. Augustine, Ponte Vedra & The Beaches Visitors and Convention Bureau, Renaissance World Golf Village Resort, Paul Daumof Hospitality Solutions, SE Paper Group, Mile Marker Brewing and San Sebastian Winery.
Proceeds from this event will support Home Again St. Johns, the primary organization responsible for meeting the needs of the homeless in St. Johns County.
Tickets are $30 per person and include 5 tastings. Additional Tasting tickets are available at the Cook-Off event.
This year’s Flavors Top Chef Cook-Off judges include Chef David Bearl from the University of Florida, Good Morning Jacksonville host Phil Amato, owner of the Tasting Tours Andrea Shivers, President of San Sebastian Winery, Charles Cox; and the World Golf Hall of Fame’s Community Events coordinator, Jody Sutton. And First Coast News Weekend Anchor Jessica Clark will be the Emcee for the cook-off.
