Torsdagen den 28 november visar SLU Alumn i Alnarp, med stöd av Sveriges Arkitekter och Sveriges Hortonomförbund, filmen ”FIVE SEASONS: The Gardens of Piet Oudolf” i Aulan i Alnarpsgården. Evenemanget riktar sig till SLU:s alumner, studenter och anställda!

OBS! Evenemanget är gratis, men registrering krävs via knappen till höger på denna sida. Filmen är på engelska, utan undertexter. Panelsamtalet är på svenska.

Program:

16.30 - 17.30 Mingel i Alnarpsgårdens foajé + Casseroll food truck

Vi möts upp i Alnarpsgårdens Foajé, där även foodtrucken Casseroll kommer finnas på plats.

De 50 första som registrerar sig får njuta av en gratis höstgryta med hembakat surdegsbröd.

För hungriga eftersläntrare finns det möjlighet att köpa mat på plats till ett pris av 80 kr. Veganskt och köttalternativ finns.

17:30 - 19.30 Filmvisning FIVE SEASONS: The Gardens of Piet Oudolf

Dokumentären 'FIVE SEASONS: The Gardens of Piet Oudolf' låter tittarna djupdyka i Piet Oudolf's arbete. Vi går in i hans kreativa process, från hans vackra abstrakta skisser, till teorier om skönhet och kopplingen till ekologi i hans idéer.

19:30 - 20:00 Panelsamtal

Efter filmen hålls ett panelsamtal på temat trädgårdsdesign och Piet Oudolf, modererat av Titti Olsson, redaktör för Tidskriften STAD. Med på scenen är även Karin Svensson och Stefan Mattson.

Stefan Mattson är tidigare stadsträdgårdsmästare i parkstaden Enköping, och har arbetat med Piet Oudolf i flera projekt i Sverige.

Karin Svensson är landskapsarkitekt och har sedan drygt 15 år undervisat i växtkännedom, växtkomposition och trädgårdsdesign vid SLU Alnarp. Hon har gjort otaliga studieresor med studenter i Europa, bl a till många av Piet Oudolfs anläggningar i Holland och Tyskland.

Thursday the 28th of November, SLU Alumni at Alnarp – with support from Architects Sweden and Sweden’s Horticultural Association - will screen the movie “FIVE SEASONS: The Gardens of Piet Oudolf” in the Aula at Alnarpsgården. SLU alumni, students and employees are more than welcome to join!

The event is for free, but registration is compulsory via this webpage.

The movie is in English, without subtitles. The panel talk will be in Swedish.

16:30 - 17:30 Mingle in the Alnarpsgården Foyer + Casseroll Food Truck

We meet up at the Alnarpsgården Foyer, where the food truck Casseroll will be parked as well. The first 50 people to register for the event get a free autumn stew with homemade sourdough bread. For hungry latecomers, it will be possible to buy food for the price of 80 SEK. Vegan and meat alternatives will be available.

17:30 - 19:30 Film screening FIVE SEASONS: The Gardens of Piet Oudolf

The documentary FIVE SEASONS: The Gardens of Piet Oudolf immerses viewers in Oudolf’s work and takes us inside his creative process, from his beautifully abstract sketches, to theories on beauty, to the ecological implications of his ideas.

19:30 - 20:00 Panel talk

After the movie, there will be a panel talk on the theme of garden design and Piet Oudolf. The panel is moderated by Titti Olsson, editor at the STAD magazine. Also on stage are Karin Svensson and Stefan Mattson.

Stefan Mattson is the previous ciy gardener for the City of Enköping. He has worked with Piet Oudolf in many Swedish park projects.

Karin Svensson is a landscape architect, since 15 years active as a teacher of plant knowledge, plant composition and garden design at SLU Alnarp. She has made plenty of study trips with students in Europe, for example to the gardens of Piet Oudolf in Holland and Germany.
