In this 2 hour focussed workshop for parents, Dr. Jake Noel-Storr will lead you through the steps involved in turning common everyday situations into enjoyable Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) knowledge explorations -- without any pain, struggle, or family tensions for the kids and parents alike! Our workshop can apply to any family group, though we most target families of any description with one or more upper elementary or middle school (aged 9-14 years old) child. This workshop will center around Dr. Jake's five pillars of Family Science: Questioning, Collaborating, Exploring, Investigating, and Evaluating.
We limit the workshop to only 24 participants so that Dr. Jake can best address your individual family situations and personal goals. The workshop will include informative presentations, small group discussions, practical planning opportunities, and a Q&A session so that you will leave prepared and ready to get your family engaged in STEM, and getting your kids excited, prepared, and one step ahead for their futures in our modern society.
