Event description
Five creative days of making music together: writing, jamming, and listening on our journey to ignite the inner musician in all of us.

About this Event

This camp will take place outdoors at the Sisters Art Works Building, located at 204 W. Adams Avenue in Sisters.

In our time together we will:

  • Outrun our inner critics with daily “bad poems”
  • Turn those daily poems into songs in a series of “song sprints”
  • Dissect your favorite music
  • Arrange your music and learn to be supporting musicians on each other's songs
  • Practice the language of music
  • Meet for a one on one professional lesson
  • Fall in love with music you haven’t heard yet
  • Jam...a lot

The week culminates in a presentation of brand new original music.

This is a collaborative and inclusive environment. We believe listening + playing music together are powerful tools for battling isolation, gaining faith in our imaginations, and building a sense of self.
