The "Soul Fitness" part of Fitlosophy is about meditation, mindfulness, releasing and letting go of what we don't need so we can simply be ourselves, completely and authentically. It complements and integrates with the Body and Mind Fitness focus of our other regular sessions.
A weekly meditation session runs for 45 minutes every Sunday afternoon at Magill in Adelaide's east. Each class begins with a contemplation on ancient wisdom teachings from the Chinese philosopher Lao Tzu, followed by silent meditation practice.
Chairs are provided, but if you wish to sit or lie on the floor please bring your own yoga mat or meditation cushion. Layers of clothing and / or blankets may be required for your comfort during the colder months.
This is a casual drop-in class. Cash donations are welcomed on the day or contributions may be made through Eventbrite for those who like to say "thank you" via payment.
