Participant and Volunteer Registration

Thank you for joining us for the first annual Fit Hearts Training Program! This website is for the registration of our:

  • Participants & their supporters
  • CCHMC employee volunteer registration.

Training Information:

Training sessions will take place on Saturday mornings, March 15 through April 26. The final mile will be completed on Saturday, May 3, at the Flying Pig Marathon. Volunteers will work with small groups of participants and their supporters to meet mileage and health goals throughout the course of the program.

All training sessions will begin at 9:30 am and will last until 11:00 am. Please arrive between 9:15 – 9:29 am. Here’s how each training session will go:

9:15 – 9:30

Sign-in

9:30 – 9:45

Breakout in groups, Meet’n Greet, Education Series

9:45 am

Start Walking/Running until miles are complete

Post-walking

Cool Down/Stretching

11:00 am

Session ends/Last walkers out

All training will now take place outdoors at the downtown/central location!!

Outdoor Training – March 15, 22, 29, April 5, 12, 19, & 26

Outdoor training will take place on the riverfront, and will include walking paths around Friendship Park, Sawyer Point, and the Purple People Bridge.

The group will meet at the following location: Montgomery Inn-The Boathouse Parking Lot, 925 Riverside Drive, Cincinnati, OH 45202

Saturday, March 22, 2014, 9:30 am - 11:00 am

Saturday, April 5, 2014, 9:30 am - 11:00 am

Saturday, April 12, 2014, 9:30 am - 11:00 am

Saturday, April 19, 2014, 9:30 am - 11:00 am

Saturday, April 26, 2014, 9:30 am - 11:00 am

 Final Mile – Conclusion of the Program – May 3, 2014

*The final mile will be completed on Saturday, May 3, 2014 at the Flying Pig Marathon. The race starts at 12:45 pm. Details to come!
