The Play2Win Fit Four Challenge benefitting the Marlboro Drug Alliance is a fitness challenge for competitors looking to win a cash prize or who just want to see how they measure up and support an important local cause. The Fit Four Challengs consists of 4 scored events, for men and women.


PRIZES:

All participants receive an event t-shirt and
goody bag.

Men and Women

First place: $500 and trophy
Second place: $150
Third place: $100

Beat Tom Bounty Prize: $100 to any men in over 40 who beat Thomas Phillips (owner Fit for Life pt) www.fflmarlboro.com

EVENTS

Women begin at 12:00pm - Men begin at approximately 12:45pm


BENCH PRESS
• Number of reps within 2 minutes
Men: body weight minus 20 lbs (min 135 lbs)
Women: ½ body weight minus 15 lbs (min 60 lbs)
STRICT CURLS
• Number of reps within 2 minutes
Men: 1/3 body weight (rounded up to nearest 5 lbs)
Women: ¼ body weight (rounded up to nearest 5 lbs)
TRAP BAR DEADLIFT
• Number of reps within 2 minutes
Men: 1½ x body weight minus 40 lbs (min 185 lbs)
Women: body weight minus 15 lbs (min 115 lbs)
FARMER’S WALK
• 180 yd distance for time (15 yds then back 15 yds, 6x)
Men: 70 lbs kettle bell each arm (140 lbs total)
Women: 40 lbs kettle bell each arm (80 lbs total)


RULES BREAKDOWN


All events 2 minutes on, followed by a 4 minute break

BENCH PRESS
• 2 minute time limit to do as many reps as you can
• No compression shirts allowed
• Weight belts and wrist wraps are permitted
• After the bar has been unracked, you MAY re-rack it to rest
between reps
• For a rep to count for your score, you must pause at the top
of the lift until the judge counts the rep

STRICT CURLS

• 2 minute time limit to do as many reps as you can
• Heels and back against a wall
• For a rep to count, you must touch your chest, then pause at
the bottom of the curl

TRAPBAR (for Fitness division)
• 2 minute time limit to do as many reps as you can
• Touch and go style - the bar only needs to touch the mat,
then go
• You must stand fully upright at the top of the rep and the
judge will count the rep before you go back down
• Weight belts are permitted
• The sumo style of deadlift is allowed
• Rest away from the bar is allowed

FARMER’S WALK
• 5 minute max to complete (or max 50 point deduction)
• For every 6 seconds it takes you to complete the Farmer’s
Walk, 1 point is subtracted from your total accumulated
score (ex. 120 seconds would result in a 20 point deduction)
• Time will be started and stopped by the judge

SAMPLE SCORE
Bench 20 reps, Pull-ups 10 reps, Deadlift 20 reps, time
of 180 seconds for Farmer’s Walk:
Farmer’s Walk score (30) is subtracted from total rep score (50),
making the FINAL SCORE 50 - 30 = 20 points

All participants will be required to fill out and
sign a waiver form. Fit for Life reserves the
right to drug test any cash winners.
