The FIT (Forever Improving Through) Wellness Series takes nutrition and wellness information and brings it to you in a simple, fun, and interactive class. Learn and practice concepts related to each week's topic so that you can use them anywhere. For example, how do you measure/weigh food when you don't have measuring equipment? How can you determine if a certain diet is right for you?
This hands-on class allows participants to track their weight weekly, and are encouraged to keep track of other information related to their goal(s) such a cholesterol, blood pressure, and blood sugar.
If your goal is to become healthier, this series may be what you're looking for! Keeping it simple is sometimes the most effective way to adopt and maintain healthy changes.
Participants must be at least 14 years old to attend. Each paying participant can bring one additonal guest for FREE.
Class topics are subject to change. This series is 5 weeks due to the holidays.

Session 3– Get Your Groove On – Physical Activity
Session 4– Not all Diets are Created Equal – Fad Diets and Health Claims
Session 5– Lifelong Health – Chronic Disease Prevention and Maintenance (Type 2 Diabetes, HBP, High Cholesterol)
