About this event
Join us for Grammy–nominated artist Guy Davis and the captivating performance of his one-person play, The Adventures of Fishy Waters. Debuting off- Broadway, the play is set in 1959 and tells the tale of Fishy Waters, an aging fictionalBluesman.Throughout the production, he recalls what it was like being a Bluesman in the 1920s and 1930s, interspersed with songs from the era by legends Blind Willie McTell, Robert Johnson, Rev. Gary Davis, and others. It also includes original songs by writer and star Guy Davis.
** All shows start at 7 pm in the National Blues Museum's performance space, the Legends Room. Doors are at 6:30 pm.
** Outside food is allowed. Outside drinks are not permitted. The bar will open to purchase drinks.
** Ticket purchases come with a four-hour parking voucher valid at the Seventh Street garage located at 410 N Seventh Street.
** All tickets are general admission with family-style seating. If you would like to sit at your own table, please purchase four tickets.
