2012 – directed by Benjamin Dickinson
Sex, drugs and yoga can’t last forever. During a winter of record-breaking cold, a blackout of apocalyptic proportions strands a group of Brooklynites in a remote country farmhouse. At first it’s a party, but as the days go on and the food supply dwindles, the group begin to turn against one another and are forced to confront their own mortality. Evocatively told and gorgeously photographed on 16mm, Benjamin Dickinson’s directorial debut was a break-out hit at this year’s Tribeca Film Festival.
