First Time in College New Student Orientation_December 14th

We will gather to teach you all that you need to be successful in the upcoming school year!
- Understand Northeast Lakeview College and SAC at NLC
- Increase awareness of Student Services
- Understand College Level Placement (Group Advising Card overview)
- Understand classroom rigor and expectations
- Complete Registration and Payment

Do I need to stay the entire day from 8:30am-5pm?
Yes! Students should plan to be on campus from 8:30am-5pm.
What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?
The campus has open parking. Lots 4 and 5 are closest to the Student Commons Building.

Can I update my registration information?
Yes! If you need to change dates, log back in and select another date and time that works best for your schedule.
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
It's helpful, but not mandatory.
Can I still come to New Student Orientation (NSO) if I haven't completed my Enrollment Checklist?
Yes! New Student Orientation (NSO) is for all incoming students who have earned less than 15 college credit hours. There is a time at NSO that you will register for your courses, so we highly encourage you to have completed all steps of your Enrollment Checklist: http://www.alamo.edu/alamoenroll/future-students prior to attending NSO to allow time for processing.
What items should I bring with me the day of my NSO?
Please bring a valid photo ID and any remaining documents that you may need to submit such as test scores, transcripts, or shot records.
