First stop nutrition: holiday party edition

About this Event
This month's First Stop Nutrition class will explore how to navigate what to eat during the upcoming holiday season so you can strike a balance.
The class is fun, interactive and will enable participants to grocery shop and choose foods with new confidence.
Participants can look forward to one-on-one time with Carol Bell, Registered Dietitian for guidance, support, and to answer common nutrition-related questions such as:
Have you ever asked yourself?
• What is the difference between canola oil and olive oil? Are there better alternatives for healthy fats?
• I hate calorie counting. Is there a better way?
• How do I know what to buy at the grocery store? There is so much stuff there!
• I want to make changes to my diet, do I need a special plan? Which one?
• I eat a healthy diet but why do I still have no energy?
Registered Dietician, Carol Bell will answer all of your questions and provide a step by step process that is the pathway to all successful eating plans.
Participants will first identify which aspects of their current diet are causing setbacks to well-being, and then receive guidance in how food can be powerful medicine.
