ANNUAL SUMMER JURIED EXHIBITION

The Bendheim Gallery / Greenwich Arts Center, 299 Greenwich Ave., Greenwich CT

Viewing hours: Weekdays 10-5, Thursdays until 7, Saturday 12-4

VIP Tour: Thursday, August 8, 5:30pm-7:00pm

JUDGE: Hillary Reder, Curator, Department of Drawing & Prints at the Museum of Modern Art, New York. Hillary has curated or co-organized several exhibitions, including Bodys Isek Kingelez: City Dreams; Making Space: Women Artists and Postwar War Abstraction; A Revolutionary Impulse: The Rise of the Russian Avant-Garde; Jackson Pollock: A Collection Survey, 1934-1954; and Andy Warhol: Soup Cans and Other Works, 1953-1967. Before joining MoMA, she held curatorial positions at the Williams College Museum of Art and the Tang Teaching Museum at Skidmore College.

THEME: “UNITY IN DIVERSITY.” Open theme that can encompass diverse forms of aesthetic styles and narrative content in an effort to convey how diversity can create a unified visual image and/or conceptual statement.
