We’ve all been watching the new “public market” building going in on Grand Ave for the past year and wondering what exactly will be in this space.
The development is called Potala Place; the ground level will be The Market at Potala Place. What is the Market? A farmers market? Or is it a brewery? Or a distillery? Will there be a fish market? What about a butcher? A baker? A candlestick maker?!
Potala Farms, the new farm-to-market concept within The Market, is hosting an exclusive event, allowing the public a sneak peek of exactly what is going to happen in that space. Join us for First Light on April 30th for an exclusive insider look at The Market at Potala Place! Guests will enjoy a farm-to-market culinary experience provided by Chef William von Schneidau of BB Ranch Butcher & Seafood in Pikes Place Market (and soon to come) The Market at Potala Place. Cocktails provided by Bluewater Distilling,baked goods from the market’s own artisan bakery, ChouxChoux, live music, a presentation and hard-hat tours of The Market AND a limited edition Potala Farms grocery tote with special treat!
