Event description

Description

North Boulder has historically been the hub of Boulder’s art community because low rents attracted artists. Because of climbing rents and new development prospects, there is a need to secure retail space, housing, and studio availability before they disappear. The need for housing in the area has contributed to rezoning, leaving fewer venues. Designation as a State of Colorado Creative district will boost retail and art industry in the area. The Urban Land Institute (ULI) will create a vision to share with the community for inspiration and feedback. Join us to see the results of their work!

The Urban Land Institute TAP Process:

A Technical Advisory Panel (TAP) is a two-day session preceded by extensiveadvanced preparation and review of formal documents provided by the site.

A TAP consists of a team from a variety of disciplines including real estatedevelopment, (residential and commercial), finance, city partners and local leaders.

A TAP’s recommendations are designed to help communities take decisive action.
