SUPPORTED BY CISCO, DRIVEN BY THE COMMUNITY
Welcome to an emerging community that is looking to combine the love of technology with a relaxed environment, food and beer. While this group is supported by Cisco, do not expect sales pitches and marketing presentations.
What we will focus on is enabling on our local tech community and infuse it with presentations aimed at sharing experiences and also generally learning more about both technology and careers.
The aim of the Cisco Data Center User Group meeting is to run every second Thursday of the month, and we’re pretty excited about building a community around it!
Please note that open doors start at 18 and sessions start at 19 hours to accommodate for travel times. We will be in the EMERALD room with beer, soft drinks and pizza! (see below for full details)
Session Topic: VXLAN in the Datacenter Environment

An overview of VTEPs, VM-to-VM communication, frame format and encapsulation. All of this information will also get a more practical approach via our demo lab!
• Session B: Automating VXLAN deployments using NX-API - Using the NX-API and other automation tools, let's look at how we can simplify and automate the provisioning of a VXLAN network. An introduction to the NX-API will be followed by a practical demo of the API and different automation tools in action!
