This is a ball!  Think Marie Antoinette, The King and I, Cinderella, or whatever your heart desires.  Be modern or classic. Surprise us!
Ladies, make sure your gowns are to the ground, your hair is coifed, and your gems are on.  Gents, suit up and look sharp.

Also I would like to add just one more thing that may worry some people.  There is no Valentine's theme and you do not have to bring a date.  So if your worried about showing up alone... don't.  You might not leave that way:)

All proceeds from the night will be donated to the organization 826LA.

Ladies and Gents,

All proceeds from this event will be donated to the organization 826LA.

826LA is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting students ages 6 to 18 with their creative and expository writing skills, and to helping teachers inspire their students to write.

Their services are structured around our belief that great leaps in learning can happen with one-on-one attention, and that strong writing skills are fundamental to future success.

With this in mind, they provide drop-in tutoring, after-school workshops, in-schools tutoring, help for English language learners, and assistance with student publications.

All of their programs are challenging and enjoyable, and ultimately strengthen each student’s power to express ideas effectively, creatively, confidently, and in his or her individual voice.

Drop-In Tutoring
They still need tutors — please come in and sign up for a weekly slot. Drop-in tutoring is free one-on-one attention for students, ages 8-18, working on their homework or their first novel. Tutoring is available Monday through Thursday from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm. 826LA is proud to provide this service to the students in our area, and we look forward to seeing you!
