Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?
If registering for a class that results in an AHA certification, you must be able to physically complete the hands on skills evaluation according to AHA guidelines. If you need modifications in order to complete the training, please contact Pulse Instruction prior to registration (typically age 14+).
What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?
There is ample parking at the office building. The main entrance is located on the side closest to Hwy 26. If taking a weekend or after hours class, the main doors may be locked. If any trouble getting into the building, please call Pulse Instruction at (503) 608-2467 to have someone open the door for you.
What can/can't I bring to the event?
We currently do not have on-site daycare (although we will be working on this option in the future!). Please DO NOT bring unregistered guests. All attendees MUST be registered prior to class. If you would like to add an additional attendee after registration has closed, please contact Pulse Instruction LLC to check for availability.
Please be sure to wear comfortable clothing for working on the floor and tables with the manikins and other students.

Is my registration/ticket transferrable?
If you are unable to attend class but have someone that can attend in your place, please send an email to Katy@pulseinstruction.com.
What is the refund policy?
- NO REFUND if you cancel with less than 5 days notice.
- All cancellations must be in writing and emailed to: Katy@pulseinstruction.com
- Cancellations received at least 5 days or more in advance of the class may request a refund or receive full credit to another class*.
- Cancellations received less than 5 days in advance, but at least 24 hours prior to the class will be issued a credit to reschedule with a rescheduling fee*.
- Cancellations received less than 24 hours prior to class, and "no shows" at class will not be issued a refund or credit.
- If a class is cancelled (emergency or inclement weather causing unsafe driving conditions), we will promptly notify you and every effort will be made to reschedule your training. If this is not possible, you will receive a full refund*.
*Refunds will be issued within 14 calendar days of cancellation via check or electronic payment. A $10 rescheduling fee will be charged at time of rescheduling.
The name on the registration/ticket doesn't match the attendee. Is that okay?
If a different person is registering for an attendee, this is not an issue. Please send an email to Katy@pulseinstruction.com to let us know who's name you would like on the certification card or participation certificate.
When will I get my card?
The AHA now sends eCards that the student will receive via email and may print the pdf as an 8.5" x 11" certificate or a wallet size card. Takes approximately 24-48 to get released in the system from the AHA. If you are in a time crunch, please contact Pulse Instruction LLC about getting your card released at the time of class. eCards have a security code for employer to verify authenticity.
Physical cards are still available, however, they do not have the security code and may also take up to a week to receive for printing and mailing time.
