This seminar is an intensive 30 hour course emphasizing the benefits of installed fire protection systems and their impact on loss prevention programs. Attendees will learn first-hand the principles and practices of maintaining, inspecting, testing, and troubleshooting fire protection and detection equipment to include fire protection water distribution systems, sprinkler systems (wet pipe, dry pipe, pre-action, and deluge), and alarm systems. The program is designed to address the specific fire protection systems and troubleshooting issues of concern to those in attendance. Personnel attending will be provided an opportunity to observe sprinkler systems in operation. Field demonstrations will include the inspection, testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of systems specifically designed for hands-on training.
