We're thrilled to present #FindSpark Fashion Conference, a full-day fashion career conference in partnership with LIM College on Saturday, March 4, 2017.

Join creative college students and young professionals for a full day of discussions, workshops, networking, and fun — all aimed to get you closer to the fashion job of your dreams. Meet the coolest creative and business execs from the most exciting companies in New York City, learn about the ins and outs of the fashion industry, and make valuable connections with peers and professionals.

Throughout the event you’ll meet a wide range of creatives from leading NYC companies in fields such as visual merchandising, social media, entrepreneurship, and recruiting.

Chan is a highly motivated and uniquely talented fashion writer with six years of experience working in both Toronto and New York City. She currently covers womenswear and accessories, and owns the plus-size fashion beat. With a string of internships in fashion, bookings, online, and events departments, a freelance career with clients like the New York Times’ T Magazine, Interview, and the Globe and Mail, and a venture in the world of plus-size modeling with Ford Models, Chan had a special industry education prior to landing as a fashion writer at Italian Vogue, then where she is presently, at Glamour.

LIM College‘s Townhouse at 12 East 53rd St. is located between Fifth and Madison Avenues. To enter, simply walk through the double wooden doors on the ground floor. Please note that East 53rd St. is one-way, going west.

Dress Code: Business Casual

Wear comfortable shoes. Room temperature may vary, so be sure to bring a sweater or light jacket you can wear during the sessions. The programming takes place in one building, but bring a jacket or umbrella if needed.
