About this event
Entrepreneurship. Is. Tough.
Just ask Malisse Tan. It took her two failed startups, truckloads of courage, and sheer persistence and determination to finally strike gold with her third venture, Bobble - an eco-organic period care company.
With odds that have worked against her multiple times, including a bout of Stage 2 Hodgkin's Lymphoma a mere 6 weeks after giving birth to her first child, she’s managed to find ways to convince herself to start her own venture. Question is - how?
At Bawatana's upcoming Coffee & Founders session, Malisse will share:
- Her personal journey and anecdotes of entrepreneurship
- Key considerations when thinking about starting her own venture including factoring in the risk, putting in your own money, giving up a full time job, and the potential for failure
- Bootstrapping her way to Bobble’s growth and what exactly this entails - how to bootstrap, putting a number to your startup capital, planning your runway, goal setting, reflecting on personal capabilities, and outsourcing
This event is free to attend. Limited slots available. Coffee or tea is on us.
