Finding Refuge in Tara: A special two-class series

Sunday, August 17 & 24 - 3:30 to 5:00pm

Tara is a female Buddha, a manifestation of the ultimate wisdom of all the Buddhas. She is known as our Holy Mother, a source of swift protection, compassion, and wisdom. Just as we naturally turn to our worldly mother in times of need—for comfort, guidance, and support—so too, on our spiritual path, we turn to Arya Tara for refuge and inspiration.

In these two special classes, Gen Khedrub will share insights and highlights from the teachings on the practice of Buddha Tara given at the International Summer Festival. Each session will include guided meditation, visualization, and mantra recitation, allowing us to connect more deeply with Tara’s enlightened energy and receive her blessings.

What to Expect:

  • Inspiring teachings from the International Summer Festival
  • Guided meditations and visualizations to connect with Tara
  • Mantra recitation for protection and inner strength
  • Practical advice for applying Tara’s blessings in daily life
  • A peaceful and supportive environment for all levels

Everyone is welcome—whether you’re new to Tara practice or wish to deepen your connection with her enlightened presence. You are most welcome to attend just one of the two classes.

Location: This event will be held at Kadampa Meditation Center Boston, located at 2298 Massachusetts Ave. in Cambridge, just a few blocks from the Davis Square T stop. There is free parking available, please email us at education@meditationinboston.org

Organized by

Kadampa Meditation Center Boston is local but its reach is global.

KMC Boston has several branches, including Portland, Maine, to make meditation classes as accessible as possible, holding classes on meditation and modern Buddhism that are open to everyone regardless of age, race, gender, sexual orientation or faith. You don’t have to be a Buddhist to learn how to meditate or to benefit from it.

We wish to inspire and empower people to reach their full spiritual potential in order to be of greatest benefit to their family and friends and, by developing inner peace, be active contributors to world peace.
