Finding My Calling @Work
Wed, March 22, 2017, 12:30 PM – 1:30 PM SGT
We will spend almost 100,000 hours at work across our life. But is there more to our 9 to 6 beyond titles and money? Join us on 22 March 2017, 1230pm to 130pm as we explore this question of "Finding My Calling @Work" with our speaker, Mr Don Voth, who has flown in from Canada to share this life experience with us.
About The Speaker
Don Voth, age 67, is happily married to Elma, his wife of 47 years. They have 3 married children, with 9 grandchildren. Together with his brother Ken, Don started their own company in 1971 and built a construction company involved in some of the Pacific Northwest's more noteworthy projects. Metro-Can's longstanding reputation of meeting client demands on quality, schedule and cost culminated in being a leader in hi rise construction over the past 44 years. It was just recently sold. Don Voth is not only on the board of LeaderImpact Canada (the marketplace ministry to Business People from Canada's Power to Change) but also an active follower of Christ helping other business people discover the relevance of God in their personal and professional life.
Raffles Place Prayer Fellowship is a grassroots initiative desiring to see God move in the lives of the people working in the Singapore CBD area. We hold a monthly prayer room in Raffles Place, specifically to interceed for the hearts of the people in this area and to see the marketplace and Singapore blessed.
