Weekend workshop led by Dh. Bodhipaksa
Explore the "three marks" (or lakkhanas) that characterize our experience: impermanence, unsatisfactoriness and non-self. The Buddha's approach to ending the suffering caused by these conditions was to recognize them as part of our reality and learn to appreciate the impermanent, ever-chaning nature of experience, find peace through accepting the flow of pleasant and unpleasant experiences with equanimity, and recognize that sensing, feeling, thinking and acting arise without the existence of a unitary self. This approcah, with repeated practice, can leave us with a sense of lightness, peace, and freedom from fear and other forms of suffering.
