Event description

Description

Finding Courage - the Daring Way™ is an interactive class is based on Dr. Brené Brown’s The Daring Way™ program, a highly experiential methodology to help individuals learn how to show up, be seen, and live braver lives. The primary focus is on embracing vulnerability, developing shame resilience and practicing courage in the way we live, lead, love and parent. What emerged from Brené’s research is that our deepest desire is to move toward authentic and wholehearted living.

Cost includes a delicious lunch, 2 snacks, workshop materials (bring your journal and a pen), a water bottle, wear comfortable clothing, and please watch Brené Brown's TED Talk on the Power of Vulnerability prior to signing up. This work is vulnerable and amazing - courageous but not always comfortable...and it will change your life if you have the courage to show up!!!!!!

You explore topics such as vulnerability, courage, shame and perfectionism, and seek to understand where your thoughts, emotions and behaviours currently hold you back. From here, you create new choices and practices that will move you to a more authentic and wholehearted way of living, developing resilience skills that will transform the way you live, love and lead.

This is a truly immersive experience where groups are deliberately kept small, which supports an intimate and nurturing environment. The workshop is led by a certified Daring Way facilitator (CDWF). The focus is on connection - each topic is introduced by your facilitator before you absorb, reflect and discuss with the group. You will also be given a Daring Way Workbook to support your learning and provide a source of reference as you implement positive change in your life.

Here you’ll find the space, support and guidance that will allow your courage to emerge.
