Finding Common Ground: Problem Solvers in Congress

By USC Center for the Political Future / Jesse M. Unruh Institute of Politics

Overview

Common ground event with Congressman Brian Fitzpatrick (PA) and Congressman Tom Suozzi (NY).

No party has a monopoly on good ideas. Democrats and Republicans can — and often do — work together to tackle the nation’s toughest challenges.

Join Congressman Brian Fitzpatrick (PA) and Congressman Tom Suozzi (NY), Co-Chairs of the House Problem Solvers Caucus, for a conversation on bridging differences to help America thrive. The discussion will be moderated by Steve Scully, host of THE BRIEFING with Steve Scully.

What does the Problem Solvers Caucus do? Do members of opposing parties actually work together? Can this bipartisan work inspire more of the same?

Participants will learn what it takes to find compromise and deliver results across party lines.

Presented by State Business Executives, the USC Dornsife Center for the Political Future, the USC Open Dialogue Project, and the USC Capital Campus.
