About this event

Get grounded in the basics of finding information about LA County funding opportunities, determining fit for your organization and strategies to help you plan for pursuing contracts and grants.

Join us to learn about the Equitable Recovery Initiative, a project to support community-based organizations in strengthening their infrastructure to apply for and manage federal funds to support recovery in LA County.

The Center for Nonprofit Management (CNM) and its partner BDO FMA are ready to assist organizations in accessing, applying for and managing current and upcoming American Rescue Plan (ARP) funding opportunities to serve LA County communities most impacted by COVID.  We are especially looking to engage BIPOC-led and BIPOC-serving organizations operating under a budget of $2.5M in this effort to ensure equitable access to funding.

In this session, you'll learn about:

  • Locating LA County grant announcements
  • Understanding the county-wide equity guiding and ARP-specific budget equity principles
  • Reading and interpreting grant application guidelines
  • Determining requirements for a competitive written response

Who Should Attend:

Senior leaders of LA County nonprofit organizations looking to learning more about current ARP contracting opportunities. This event is open to staff of nonprofit organizations looking to serve LA County communities most impacted by the pandemic.

Please note: Spanish translation services are available for this session. We ask that Spanish translation services are requested within 48 hours of the event in order for us to confirm logistics. Thank you.
