ABOUT OUR FEATURE: John Brewster (formerly of SonderBlue)

John Brewster is a free spirited singer-songwriter with the intention to share empowering music with a conscious message. Originally from South Carolina, John grew up playing the violin and fell deeper into music when his summer job in high-school spontaneously became performing live 4 to 5 nights a week as a background singer and percussionist. While at the College of Charleston, John further explored his passion for songwriting and formed a band with his best friends called SondorBlue. From 2016-2018, SondorBlue toured the east coast and played hundreds of shows. By the end of 2018, the band threw in the towel as Brewster hit a personal rock bottom that led to an inward journey of healing and self-reflection. With a rediscovered sense of purpose and clarity, John began to pursue his own music in 2019. In 2021, Brewster made the jump to Colorado and released his debut album, 42°. With uplifting lyrics, empowering melodies, and a delicate, smooth vocal delivery, we can’t wait to hear what’s next for John and his music career.
