Description

Givology Chicago is putting together our first ever charity mixer. We want to help young professionals in Chicagoland area find a cause they are passionate about and help them give back to the community.

Come join us for a chance learn about 7 different non-profit organizations based in Chicago. We will have representatives from each organization listed below to help answer questions and get you involved!

Charities that will be attending:
Chicago Children's Advocacy Center
Chicago Children's Advocacy Center and their partners are the front-line responders in Chicago to reports of child sexual abuse, as well as reports of physical abuse of children under age 3. They work to coordinate children protection staff, law enforcement, medical experts, etc for victims.

Junior Council
Junior Council supports the Pediatric & Adolescent HIV/AIDS Program at Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago. Established in 1988 by Dr. Ram Yogev and Dr. Ellen Chadwick, the program cares for more children and adolescents than any other pediatric HIV service in the region. Their mission is to support the program and ensure all children with HIV/AIDS, regardless of their ability to pay, have access to high quality pediatric healthcare.

The Simple Good is a non-profit organization whose mission is connect the meaning of ‘good’ from around the world to empower at-risk youth to bring positivity into communities through art and discussion.
America Needs You - Illinois
America Needs You fights for economic mobility for ambitious, first-generation college students to ensure they are successful. They do this by providing transformative mentorship and intensive career development.
Blind Service Association
Blind Service Association (BSA) is a non-profit organization providing an array of programs and services to people who are blind and visually impaired in the Chicagoland area.

Deborah's Place
Deborah’s Place opens doors of opportunity for women who are homeless in Chicago. By providing supportive housing and services offer women their key to healing, achieving their goals and moving on from the experience of homelessness.

UNICEF Next Generation
UNICEF Next Generation is a group of young leaders, entrepreneurs and innovators in their 20s and 30s who commit their resources, resolve and enthusiasm toward supporting UNICEF’s lifesaving work. Members study issues that affect children around the world and choose UNICEF projects to support through education, advocacy, skill sharing/remote volunteering and fundraising.
