Join us for a USGBC Detroit Region & Detroit 2030 District Lunch & Learn focusing on financing options for energy upgrades, retrofits, and other sustainable projects.

Come hear from our speakers and about financing tools for projects big and small, including PACE, Michigan Saves, LISC, and DTE Energy.

Speaker Bios and Presentation Subject:

Kenneth Randazzo: Kenneth is currently Manager of Energy Optimization Business Programs and Energy Partnership & Services (EPS) at DTE Energy. Ken’s presentation will provide insight into DTE Energy’s electric and gas energy efficiency programs for business customers, how to incorporate energy efficiency and conservation into your business, how customers can participate in the programs and why participating in the energy efficiency programs is a sound business decision.

Andy Levin: Andy Levin is the founder and managing partner of Levin Energy Partners, LLC and the creator and President of Lean & Green Michigan, a statewide property assessed clean energy (PACE) program, which brings together contractors, lenders and local governments to make clean energy projects work for Michigan businesses and nonprofits. Andy’s presentation will cover the benefits of using a PACE program and how it allows owners of any kind of for-profit or non-profit commercial, industrial or multifamily private property to undertake comprehensive projects to transform their buildings.

Mary Templeton: Mary serves as executive director of Michigan Saves, a multimillion-dollar nonprofit organization whose mission is to stimulate and support investment in energy efficiency and renewable energy systems in homes, businesses, and public buildings. Mary’s presentation will cover the Michigan Saves program and funding options available.

Victor Abla: Victor is the Regional Preservation Director for LISC Detroit which provides capital, technical expertise and training to creating affordable housing, spur economic development, and support safe neighborhoods. Victor will discuss the funding programs available through LISC Detroit.
