Description

This class will focus on how to develop the financial forms you need to assess your net worth and to determine if your farm enterprise is profitable. Forms include the balance sheet, the income statement, the enterprise budget, and the cash-flow budget. Reference materials and homework assignments are included. Learn tips and techniques from local Idaho farmers for developing the recordkeeping skills you need for successful financial recordkeeping! This is financial work required by many lending entities and support tax reporting. Reference materials and homework assignments will be included. Two evening follow-up sessions will be offered on April 6th and 13th from 6:30 - 8 pm.

$20 for early registration includes lunch and workshop materials. Rural Roots members may register for $15. Email to register with your Rural Roots discount code. Late registration after March 25th is $30.

The workshop is limited to 40 particpiants. Deadline to register is March 29, 2017.
