About this event
Since 2008, Moneythink has empowered thousands of college aspiring students in their college affordability decision-making process. Our years of providing virtual college financial coaching means that we are able to leverage our expertise in supporting students and advisors in respond directly and swiftly to help more students impacted by the COVID-19 crisis.
During the month of April, Moneythink is offering a set of public, no-cost webinars to help advisors and college access counselors to help support students in analyzing their financial aid packages.
Our webinar will help take the guesswork out of college costs by answering key questions such as:
- What comes next after my students complete the FAFSA / CA Dream Act?
- What's the best way to support my students receiving financial aid award letters?
- How can I help my students calculate whether their college is “affordable?”
- What additional guidance or support should I give students if their ideal colleges are not “affordable?”
We will walk through several different formats and highlight what you should be thinking about during these conversations with your students — from how to understand, review, analyze and compare award letters to how to determine if their colleges are affordable. By the end you will have a guide to help you support students during their critical enrollment decisions with affordability in mind.
Register now to have access to a live Q&A at the end of the presentation.
By signing up you will also get a reminder the day of the webinar.
If you happen to miss registration to attend you can follow our live stream on our Facebook and YouTube pages! We will also be posting the recording on our YouTube channel.
