Event description

Description

Starting a company is already hard enough without having to grapple with the painful administrative details. Join three-time entrepreneur Waseem Daher for a quick "Finance 101 for tech entrepreneurs". We'll cover topics such as:

  1. You've just incorporated and opened your bank account... now what? Do I need payroll? An expense reporting system?
  2. Cash vs accrual accounting
  3. Computing your burn rate and runway
  4. The three main financial statements and how to read them
  5. Do I need a bookkeeper, accountant, controller, or CFO for my startup? What's the difference?

This talk is intended for early-stage tech startup founders/operations people. Lunch will be provided.
