Film Viewing: Ocean Frontiers
Date and time
Description
UF/IFAS Extension Pinellas County presents a summer film event featuring Ocean Frontiers which takes us on an inspiring voyage to seaports and watersheds across the country. From the busy shipping lanes of Boston Harbor to a small fishing community in the Pacific Northwest; from America’s coral reefs in the Florida Keys to the nation’s premier seafood nursery in the Mississippi Delta, the film demonstrates the value in balancing natural resource and economic needs to find common goals.
The 60-minute Ocean Frontiers film viewing will be followed by an engaging small-group exercise looking at Pinellas County-specific natural resource issues from a variety of viewpoints.
This program is suitable for all ages but is intended for an adult audience.
