Do You Have Talent?

Are you looking to develop the skills needed to become a professional Film & TV actor ?

If so, then this is the Workshop for you: Foundation.

These Film & TV Acting Workshops have been developed by an experienced film producer with the express aim of teaching students specific techniques, based on the Method, to bring fresh, exciting and subtle performances to the screen.

A range of workshops have been developed to cater for most levels, from complete beginners through to professionals and although each workshop is different, the focus is on several core disciplines within each workshop which equip Actors with sound working techniques, no matter how experienced: They have been running in London for the past 8 years.

  • Acting Style - Heightened, Realism, Method
  • Script Analysis & Sight Reading
  • Camera Techniques - Eyelines, Finding Your Mark, Continuity, Vocal Levels
  • Improvisation & Body Language Awareness, Facial Energy
  • Film & TV Audition Techniques
  • The Business Of Film

All classes are filmed and perfomances are played back to the group with constructive critiques.

The Foundation Workshop runs over 4 weeks, every Sunday from 10 am to 5.30pm. Students receive a certificate of achievement at the end of the course. Min class size: 6, max 12.

Week 1: Introductions to script reading technique, script analysis, audition technique, creating character history, playback of recorded material.

Week 2: Monologues, business of film, set etiquette, awareness of camera, how a set operates, work on small scenes and film, playback of recorded material.

Week 3: Analyse and rehearse scenes, work with inner monologue and characters world, scene readings and preparation for final week scenes, playback of recorded material.

Week 4: Rehearse and block scenes to be shot late morning/afternoon. Playback of scenes. Round up.

'One on One' coaching in person and on Skype and showreel services also available by arrangement.
