LivermoreRecycles is proud to host another FREE screening of Just Eat It, an award winning documentary about food waste in North America.
Reserve your free tickets today so you don't miss this event!
Filmmakers and food lovers Jen and Grant dive into the issue of food waste from farm, through retail, all the way to the back of their own fridge. After catching a glimpse of the billions of dollars of good food that is tossed each year in North America, they pledge to quit grocery shopping and survive only on discarded food. What they find is truly shocking.
Show up to The Vine early to mingle with LivermoreRecycles, StopWaste, Livermore Sanitation, and Imperfect Produce. They will be in the lobby before the film starts to help set you up with free tools to help you reduce food waste at home.
Learn helpful food management habits and strategies from LivermoreRecycles and StopWaste staff and ask about opportunities to reduce food waste at home and in your community.
Livermore Sanitation will be there to answer questions about waste and recycling services for Livermore residents. Learn about Imperfect Produce - a delivery service located in the Bay Area that connects people to fresh, less than perfect-looking produce, directly from farms. They will be showing off some of their products and giving some away for free!
See you there!
