About this event
“Inspired by the work of the late artist and curator David Driskell, this illuminating documentary spotlights the indelible contributions of some of the foremost African American artists in today's contemporary art world, including Theaster Gates, Kerry James Marshall, Faith Ringgold, Amy Sherald, and many more.” - HBOMax
The screening is presented in conjunction with the exhibition Carrie Mae Weems: The Usual Suspects (Walsh Gallery).
The Bellarmine Hall Galleries and Walsh Galleries are open to the public starting September 18, but in accordance with the University's Covid-19 protocols and the Town of Fairfield recommendations, all visitors are asked to wear face masks while on campus and in the museum and gallery spaces.
