About this Event

The Pacific Island Nation of Kiribati is one of the most remote places on the planet, yet it is one of the first to confront the greatest challenge of our time: climate change. Set at the crossroads of international climate and human rights negotiations, President Anote Tong races to find a way to protect his nation's people. At stake is the survival of the Kiribati people and 2,000+ years of Kiribati culture.

Sponsored by Citizens' Climate Lobby and University of Notre Dame's Minor in Sustainability Program.

Citizens' Climate Lobby is also holding their Great Lakes Regional Conference on September 21 and 22 at Madeleva Hall. For more information, visit the conference Eventbrite page. Conference registration ends September 12.
