Join Director Tom Hansell for a special screening and discussion of After Coal, hosted by the Tishman Environment and Design Center and the Milano School of International Affairs, Management, and Urban Policy at The New School.
Following the film Director Tom Hansel, Tishman Center Assoicate Director Ana Baptista, and Higher Ground Director Robert Gipe will make brief comments before an audience Q&A.
After Coal profiles inspiring individuals who are building a new future in the coalfields of eastern Kentucky and South Wales. This hour long documentary invites viewers to the front lines of the transition away from fossil fuels. Coalfield residents who must abandon traditional livelihoods share stories from the front lines of the transition away from fossil fuels.
